From the public web to your warehouse

Clean, dated tables in place of raw web pages. Load them once and they stay current.

  • Company websites, job boards, newsrooms and filings are read on a daily schedule, so your tables move with the companies in them.

  • Records arrive normalised, categorised and mapped to company and security identifiers. Nothing to parse and nothing to match.

  • Query the REST API, or load daily and weekly files in CSV or JSON Lines into your own environment.

Frequently asked questions

What data does Fokals provide?

Five datasets on public and private companies: the technologies on their websites with every change dated, pricing changes among them, monthly vendor scorecards and an agent readiness score; their job postings, hiring and the projects the postings state; weekly intent scores and the technologies each company is likely to add next; their announcements with headcount, traffic and a weekly health score; and weekly market series aggregated from all four.

How is Fokals different from other company data providers?

Specialist providers sell parts of the picture: technology, hiring, intent or news. Fokals joins all of them on one company index, dates every fact, works inside your AI assistant, and is priced by the company as you go, with a data licence for larger use.

Can an AI agent use Fokals on its own?

Yes, safely. The data tools only read; the few that act on your account, such as watching companies or writing a file, are marked as doing so, so your assistant can ask you first. Every answer states what it cost, a request above a set amount shows its price and waits for a yes, and spending comes from a prepaid balance with a monthly limit you set.

Can we use Fokals data to train or ground our own AI models?

Yes, under a data licence: the datasets load into your own systems, products and models, with the date on every record kept intact.

Where does the data come from?

From first-party company sources and public records: what companies publish on their own websites and careers pages, what they announce and what they file. Everything is collected and processed in-house.

How often is the data updated?

Websites, job boards and announcements are collected daily. Intent scores, likely next adoptions, company health, agent readiness scores and market series are published weekly, and vendor scorecards monthly.

How is the data delivered?

Inside AI assistants through the Fokals MCP, through a REST API, and as bulk files in CSV or JSON Lines under a data licence.

Do I need a contract or a subscription?

No. Create a free account and your first companies are on us. After that you pay per company from a prepaid balance. Bulk files, feeds and redistribution are under a data licence.

How is the data licensed?

By written agreement, for internal use, investment research, embedding in a product or redistribution. Once you have an account, ask for a licence from your account page.

Can we evaluate the data first?

Yes. Tell us which companies you want to test and we’ll send sample data with the documentation.
